Esta arpillera representa el malestar que sentía el pueblo de Chile, al hallarse atrapado por el modelo económico y la represión. El 15 de mayo de 1986, 33 poblaciones de Santiago son atacadas por fuerzas especiales de Carabineros y tropas del Ejército, en una operación de dos semanas, donde 15.000 personas fueron detenidas.
