Afiche realizado por Jorge Castillo Rojas, seudónimo Espartaco, ganador del concurso de Afiches organizado en el marco de la Celebración del año de los Derechos Humanos en Chile organizado por la Iglesia de Santiago y convocada por el Cardenal Raúl Silva Henríquez. Entre julio y noviembre de 1978 se realizaron diversos encuentros, actividades, concursos, talleres y exposiciones para finalizar con el Simposium Internacional de los Derechos Humanos que tenía como fin reafirmar el compromiso con la dignidad del ser humano en un contexto de denuncia por las violaciones y muertes que venían ocurriendo tras el golpe de Estado de 1973.
