Biographical history
Nacida en Polvaredas, provincia de Buenos Aires fue una grabadora y pintora argentino-chilena. En 1934, Delia conoció al poeta chileno Pablo Neruda y rápidamente iniciaron un romance que perduró por 20 años. En la década del '60, Delia se inscribió en el Taller 99, que dirigía Nemesio Antúnez y ahí continuó desarrollando y perfeccionando su técnica. Delia, falleció en su casa en La Reina, el 26 de julio de 1989, a los 104 años de edad.
